The HamTEK ANAN-10(E) PTT Adapter provides a simple, compact, and RF-robust solution for accessing PTT control on the ANAN-10 and ANAN-10E transceivers.
The ANAN accessory (ACC) connector is a small, recessed 26-way header that is awkward to access and difficult to connect to reliably, particularly once the radio is installed in a station. Many existing solutions rely on flying ribbon cables or external break-out looms, which are inconvenient, mechanically fragile, and prone to picking up stray RF.
This adapter plugs directly into the radio’s ACC port, converting the PTT connections to standard rear-facing RCA (phono) sockets in a neat, self-contained enclosure — no loose cables, no dangling adapters, and no strain on the radio connector.
Key benefits
Direct plug-in design – mates straight into the ANAN-10(E) ACC port
Solves the difficult 26-way connection problem cleanly and permanently
Two rear-panel RCA sockets:
Very compact form factor – ideal where space behind the radio is limited
No flying leads or ribbon cables to act as RF antennas
Reduced RF pickup compared with cable-based break-out solutions
3D-printed enclosure for electrical insulation and mechanical protection
Typical applications
Driving a linear amplifier PTT input
Interfacing to external sequencers
Clean PTT access for home-brew or commercial accessories
Permanent station installations where reliability matters
