Which terms apply to me?
Consumer Terms and Conditions of Sale
These apply if you are purchasing as an individual for your own personal use — that is, for purposes wholly or mainly outside any trade, business, craft, or profession.
Our consumer terms are written in plain English and reflect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. They cover how orders are placed and accepted, pricing and payment, delivery, your 14-day right to cancel, your rights if products are faulty or misdescribed, our warranty, and limitations of liability.
Business Terms and Conditions of Sale
These apply if you are purchasing on behalf of a business, trade, organisation, or for commercial purposes.
Our business terms are standard commercial terms governing the sale of products to trade customers. They cover formation of contracts, pricing (exclusive of VAT), payment terms, delivery, retention of title, intellectual property, liability, export provisions, and insolvency. The statutory consumer protections described above do not apply to business purchases.
Not sure which applies to you?
If you are buying something for yourself — for your own amateur radio station, personal workshop, or hobby use — you are a consumer, even if you happen to hold a business account with us or are self-employed.
If you are buying on behalf of a company, partnership, club, or other organisation, or for resale, the business terms apply.
