Rotating Support for Elevated Dipole and Doublet Installations
The HamTEK AirGap Dipole Vane lets you mount your dipole or doublet above the rotator — at maximum height — without the worry of wires snagging or twisting. Mounted on a mast above your main antenna and rotator system, the Dipole Vane rotates freely with your beam, keeping your wire antenna perfectly aligned like a weather vane.
That means no more awkward wire mounts below the rotator level. Now your dipoles and doublets can fly high, clear of obstructions, for the best possible performance.
Choose from several mounting options to suit your station:
Compression fitting for 1.5” or 2” diameter poles
Bolt mounting with M10 Metric or 3/8” UNF-24 Imperial fixings
Optional balun flange for attaching a current balun, preventing ladder line twist while allowing coax feeders to loop naturally with your beam’s cabling
Each Dipole Vane comes pre-assembled with crimp connections, ladder line clamp + screws, and all required hardware (based on your chosen mounting option).
Built for reliability, the Vane uses double-sealed chrome steel bearings for smooth rotation and a UV-stable 3D printed enclosure tough enough for years of outdoor use.
