Infrared Rework

An infrared rework station allows PCB assemblies to be preheated from the underside before heating from the topside to remove and fit fine pitch/BGA components. This allows us to work on the most modern SDR and conventional radios and replace power semiconductors on large ground planes.

Hot plate pre-warming

For smaller PCB assemblies where infrared is an overkill, hot plate prewarming is a very effective method of preparing the board for removal and fitment of parts using hot air or soldering. 

Hot air rework 

Hot air is used to warm up the PCB and component to be removed or fitted until the solder melts. Its ideal on smaller PCBs or where large ground planes do not take too much heat away.

Well equipped test bench

A test bench is equipped with the necessary equipment to diagnose and repair most electronic equipment.

Thermal Imaging Diagnostics

We use thermal imaging to help diagnose faulty parts that are causing PCB assemblies to fail.

Power up to 10kW

We have a 10kW dummy load and custom made power meter to test the most capable RF amplifiers (to 1.3GHZ).

Manufacture of customised parts

Custom parts are often necessary to modify equipment as well as replace unavailable parts. We have a comprehensive set of in house 3D printing, desktop CNC machining, and workshop tools.
